I'm so glad Emily decided to write Dean's book and give him the second chance at love the readers knew he deserved! Rock Bottom's plot was driven forward by a few convenient and predictable devices, however the characters were endearing and the delivery was engaging and full of flirty fun, steam, and some humour, so it was still an enjoyable story. Dean and Rory were a well-fit pair with an easygoing dynamic and an endless amount of chemistry. I loved seeing their relationship grow and develop and it was equally as enjoyable watching Rory fit right in with the whole Dawson crew. I love the Dawson family and each character has their own special brand of charm. Overall, Rock Bottom was an entertaining romantic read and I was pleased with how the series came to a close. We also got a glimpse of Rory's brothers and I'm intrigued- I smell a spin-off series!!
