R E V I E W :

A sweet friends-to-lovers/brother's-best-friend romance. I have yet to read the first book in the Unexpected Arrivals series- though now I want to- but I easily enjoyed Unexpected Fight as a standalone novel. The first sixty percent or so was all fun, flirty, and sexy interactions shared between the two main characters- Tyler and Reagan. They had been dancing around each other, denying their feeling for so long that once they gave in, it was full speed ahead. Then, just when you thought it was all smooth sailing, a few bumps were thrown in their path. I loved the tenderness, love, and support each character showed their respective partner, and I felt hopeful that everything would work out for them, and they would get their happy ending. The writing, characters (main and secondary), and storyline captured my interest from the beginning, and held it straight through to the epilogue. I wanted a light read with minimal angst and drama, and Unexpected Fight was perfectly suited for my mood.
