Because I read so much and so often, I was asked once if when reading an ARC, or any book really, do I take notes?

The simple and short answer is, yes!

I always mark down my thoughts and feelings as I read, and I go through a bunch of Post-it sticky tabs to mark off favourite parts and quotes.

Highlighting text is easy when reading an e-book, and I utilize that feature often, but I'd never use a real pen or highlighter in my hard copy!! ... Textbooks are an exception. I'm about to begin Every Breath today and I have a feeling I'll finish today as well! I love Nicholas Sparks, and his stories always contain great quotes, so I've got a ton of tabs ready to mark the pages off as I read.
