Review: Keeping Him by Kennedy Fox (New Release)
Keeping Him is the final book in the Bishop Brothers series. While it could be read as a standalone, I would highly recommend reading the books in order for maximum enjoyment. Jackson Bishop was a character I was curious about since we first met him as a side character, and as I finished each book in the series I became more and more intrigued about him and his relationship/history with long-time friend, Kiera. I enjoyed the way their story was presented in both past and present time. As readers we were able to see and experience the growth of the connection between the two main characters. Their deeper feelings for each other became obvious to most over the years, but they themselves take forever to disclose them to each other. It truly was a slow-burning romance. Kennedy Fox created a good build up between Jackson and Kiera and the sexual tension was heavy. It was a relief the very moment they gave into their feelings and desires. The sex scenes in Keeping Him were hot and passionate. They also shared a ton of sweet moments and silly banter, so reading about these two was entertaining. There was some conflict in the story to keep things interesting, but I did feel as though the major climax point was a bit OTT and rushed. Everything wrapped up too conveniently. Keeping Him is a fun and sexy friends to lovers read. It is very long and I found it drawn out in parts, and rushed at other times, but overall it was a satisfying end to the series. I loved seeing the whole Bishop crew all weaved into the story and Jackson and Kiera were a pair I had no trouble rooting for.
