Review: More to Us by S. Van Horne
More to Us is Lucas and Cara's story. It's short, sweet, and sexy with a little added mystery. First of all, Lucas is a total Alpha- possessive, obsessive, protective- and if you're into over the top alphas then you'll love him. His desire for Cara burns bright right off the bat, and the feelings are most definitely reciprocated. I however, had difficulty feeling the connection between Lucas and Cara. It was a little too full on and instant for me in those beginning stages. I would have liked a stronger build-up of tension or a few more meetings between them before they got together. That said, I did enjoy some of their sweet and steamy moments further in and in the end. Overall there were parts of this one that clicked with me, and parts that didn't. More to You was a quick and easy read, and if you enjoy insta-love and Alpha males, check it out for yourself.

At twenty, Cara Johnson enjoyed her part time job. Not because she was good at it. Nope, it was because it forced her out of her shell. Working at an adult toy shop would do that to anyone. She was finally becoming the type of person she always wanted to be; an extrovert. That is—until she was in the wrong place at the wrong time. At twenty-nine, Lucas Fisher decided his time in the FBI was at its end. He wanted what his buddy Curt found . . . a family. He didn’t count on finding exactly that when he visited his financial adviser, Rhys. He was grateful fate was finally working in his favor for once. That is—until she got hurt. Now they’re in a fight to keep what is important . . . each other. Will they be able to overcome the twist that is thrown at them? Or will unknown circumstances tear them apart?
