Review

I started this book and finished this book in the same day. I thought that RISING was good, but RECKONING is even better! The story is suspenseful, captivating, and addictive. Vincent and Eve's relationship is complicated. There's stolen moments of passion and love, but there's plenty of drama and angst in the mix as well. Ruben had my stomach and my heart all tied up throughout the duration of the novel; with all it's ups, downs, secrets and surprises. I've finished reading and my heart still feels like it's in a knot! And the end? The feelings that surfaced as I reached the end were the 'heart pounding, edge of your seat, how dare you end it now' ones. I'm fully invested in the story that's being told and I want the rest like right this minute. RIGHT. THIS. MINUTE. I'm kind of sort of (100%, let's be real) hooked on this series and I'll be over here now doing my best to patiently wait for part 3.
