Flirty, a little forbidden, and a whole lot of sexy fun. Emily Goodwin's latest contemporary romance, Cheat Codes, was a big hit for me. With an engaging storyline and loveable characters, I was glued to the pages from beginning to end. Holy swoon Batman! Not only is Archer sexy, but he is crazy sweet. I loved how he was so reassuring and supportive. He may have been a little hot and cold to start, but he was clearly struggling with crossing the boundaries with his best friend's sister. But Quinn's been on his mind and making her way into his heart for some time, and Archer is done resisting his desires. He really does what he can to prove to Quinn that he wants her, and not just because in nine months time they'll be linked together for life for other reasons! Quinn was a successful woman, kind, beautiful, and very down to Earth. She's got a group of brothers always looking out for her and I loved the interaction and banter between them. Her family was a great set of secondary characters and they added to the story without taking over. Quinn and Archer had amazing chemistry, and Emily did an awesome job building the sexual tension between them. I was chanting for them to kiss for what feels like forever, and once they did, it was explosive! Their relationship goes through some big changes from that point forward, and I loved the journey Emily laid out for them. The story isn't over yet. We may know Quinn's family, but we've only had a few glimpses into Archer's family life, and it's clearly complicated. It doesn't appear that there's going to be smooth sailing from here, things are about to get even more interesting... I thoroughly enjoyed reading Cheat Codes. I loved the start of Quinn and Archer's story and I can't wait to see how everything plays out in End Game!!
