My One Regret is a story that will make your heart ache, but underneath the hurt there is hope, love, and strength. Switching back and forth from a few years in the past to present time, we get to experience the emotional journey of Sadie and Kade. How their story began, what led them to this point, and where they go from here. I loved both Kade and Sadie. I enjoyed the easy banter they shared when they first met. It was funny and sweet, but you could also feel the mutual desire bubbling just below the surface. They were attracted to each other, but their connection went much deeper, and Burgoa did a great job making me believe in their growing affections. Everything isn't simple and easy for them, their relationship has those sweet and beautiful moments, but it also goes through times of great despair and turmoil, and you feel the emotion and struggle as they do. Burgoa has a knack for writing a story that will pull on your heart-strings and My One Regret was no exception. I thoroughly enjoyed the read, and I'd gladly recommend it!
