Bittersweet was a cute, quick, and light read. There were a few funny moments throughout the story as well!

Romy and Elio had a fun and flirty friendship. It's clear that both of them wanted to take their friendship to the next level, but major miscommunications kept the pair from getting together early on. I enjoyed the times they did spend together, but I wanted more. I was kind of bummed out that they were apart for three quarters of the book. With so much time spent apart simply wishing for the other, it was difficult for me to form my own attachment/connection to the romance and really root for them. There wasn't quite enough exploration of their relationship for me.If you're in the mood for something sweet and breezy, check it out.

I didn't fall in love with Bittersweet, but I was overall satisfied with the story.
