Coming Unraveled was sweet with a touch of heat, and a quick, easy read. Everleigh was closed off, guarded, and committed to doing everything on her own. She was relatable, you could empathize with her, but at the same time she was also a frustrating character. Brooks was sexy, determined, protective, and very sweet at times. He was a character I’m positive many will swoon over. These two MCs were smitten with each other from the start- especially Brooks. Everleigh’s attraction was there, she just wasn’t entirely ready to admit it. Some of their initial meetings took place in the past, which we were privy to by way of characters reminiscing. Even so, I still had some trouble believing in the strength of their feelings until they began to develop further in present time. So, I did find myself buying into their love eventually, it just took me some time. Coming Unraveled is book 5 in the Welcome to Carson Series. It is an interconnected standalone, and can be read as such, but there is mention of events and meetings that took place in prior books, so I'd personally recommend reading the series in written order. Overall, a charming small-town romance. Coming Unraveled will leave you with a happy heart and a satisfied smile.
