Powerful and intense, STAY will keep you captivated until the very last word. The story is heartbreaking, raw, and painful. The subject matter is heavy and twisted, but it's very real.

I appreciate very much that the author did not try to glamorize or romanticize Human Trafficking. These types of people, these villains, who commit these deplorable acts, buying and selling slaves each and every day, are not good and are not redeemable.

The main character, Addie, showed such strength and determination. With every horrific thing she endured, she refused to lose herself, she would not let her abusers break her. With every attempt to break free, my pulse raced. I was on the edge of my seat with each turn of the page, hoping that one day she would be free.

Jackson was another great character. You go in thinking one thing about him, but soon realize that all isn't what it seems. I admired his strength and I had nothing but compassion for him.

Even under the circumstances, these two characters form a bond that grows with each passing day. While the overall story is very dark, the romance is not. It's a little bit of light in their very dark reality.
