FREE FALL is standalone, second-chance contemporary romance. It’s a captivating read, and packs quite the emotional punch. Jack and Nora both have a special place in my heart. There was a realness and relatability to their characters. Both vulnerable, wounded. They were well developed, I felt like I really got to know them. Each of their backstories made my heart ache, especially Jack’s. They endured so much in their short lifetime. The relationship that developed between them was sweet and believable. I was so happy they found support and love in each other. They had great chemistry both as friends and as lovers. My greatest hope was for them to be happy. And they were, for a while. One decision breaks them apart, and they don’t cross paths again until four years later. Emily did a great job in making me believe that even after the years they spent apart, their feelings remained the same. The love is there- without question- but doubts, fear and insecurities also come into play. Can Jack and Nora make it work? Will their love shine through, or will darkness snuff out the light? This story hurts and it heals. It's sad, but it's beautiful. It’s a must read for those who love a book that will tug on their heart.
