Review: CHARGED by Kerri Ann

It took me a while to get into the story and I never fully connected to the characters. My interest was at its highest point at about 40%-70% as more of the story unfolded and secrets from the past were unveiled. I thought the MC's slow-burning romance was believable and they had good chemistry once they got together. But, I still never became emotionally invested in their pairing. For me, the pacing started lagging again three quarters of the way through the novel and I began flipping pages to get answers, and to reach the end sooner. CHARGED did not win me over, but that might not be the case for you. If the blurb intrigues you, check it out for yourself!
