Release Blitz w/ Review: CLEAN BREAK by Lisa Suzanne
Review
Everything I had hoped for; Clean Break was a great ending to the deliciously addictive A Little Like Destiny series. Reese was trying to carry on after that night on the rooftop, when secrets and lies were exposed. What was revealed was shocking, and I hadn’t expected that the result would be Reese returning home, alone. But true love never dies and the love of Reese’s life was never far from her mind. One call had her returning to the family she felt she tore apart and never thought she’d see again. There was plenty of hurt and a need for healing, but I saw the light at the end of the tunnel for Reese and the man she chose, and it was bright and beautiful! If there was one thing I would have liked to see from Reese, it would have been her being a bit more apologetic or remorseful for past actions. She was unfaithful and deceitful throughout her relationship. I felt that she should have owned her indiscretions and mistakes/choices at some point, but she didn’t. She placed the blame upon one person and I found that rather unfair. Aside from that, I loved how Reese found her way back to the one she was meant for. It wasn’t easy, and it wasn’t without moments of heart-ache and bumps along the way, but it was worth it. I really enjoyed this book and the series. It was angsty, dramatic, fun and totally sexy. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it to lovers of Rockstar and love-triangle romance!
