About the Author

C.E. Johnson is an author of contemporary and suspense romance novels. Her first novel Done (In the Dark Series, #1), released in May 2017. There are two additional standalone novels in the series, with the second book Just One (In the Dark Series, #2) releasing in fall of 2017. It wasn’t until after she graduated with a Master of Arts in Communications, that she found what she’s been looking for. Her dream. She wanted to give life to the stories that would play like movies in her head. But fear is a vile beast that can only be slaughtered by action. It took some encouragement (and possibly a little rum) before she let loose on the keyboard. Now, she can’t get her fingers to leave it. When not writing until all hours of the night (with lots of late night coffee runs), she lives to read books that have a strong protective male with a soft spot for his feisty heroine. She prefers stories that rip your heart out completely, then kindly place it back into your chest with a HEA. She lives in a suburb of Chicago with her husband, two kids, and some spoiled rotten animals.
