Review: Somebody Else's Sky by Jessica Hawkins
Note: This is part two in a series and cannot be read as a stand-alone. Something in the Way must be read first.

My heart hurts for these characters, especially Lake. Like the previous book I felt mixed emotions throughout Somebody Else’s Sky. I went through phases of being mad, sad, hurt, pissed, sad again… basically everything but happy. But I also had a feeling of hope, and I’m holding on to that. I love the way Jessica Hawkins’ writing sucks you in. I really felt for the characters and I’ve grown attached to them- except Tiffany, there’s just something about her I don’t like. The love between Lake and Manning is real and true, but there are still obstacles in the way, still reasons why they cannot be together.
“She was everything I wanted and nothing I could ever have.”
I’m so glad that I started this series so close to the release of the third and final book because seriously, the angst is level ten. I’m thanking my lucky stars right now that I have the ARC sitting on my kindle and I can dive right into Move the Stars to find out how the journey ends for these characters!
