Release Blitz w/ Review: The Manny by Piper Rayne

The Manny by Piper Rayne is the first novel in the brand new Dirty Truth series. It features the brother of a character from Sexy Beast, but you do not have to have read that series to read this. It’s a very quick and light read, and it’s a nice mix of sweet and steamy with a touch of humor. The main characters, Vance and Layla, are both endearing. For people who are a part of the Hollywood limelight, they are both very down-to-earth and easy-going. Layla doesn’t have the diva attitude you may come to expect from a starlet, she’s kind and gracious and she is a kick-arse momma, always putting her kids’ needs first. Their attraction for each other is immediate and their romance is quick to burn, but it’s believable. I was fully on board. But what really stole the spotlight for me while reading The Manny, was the kids. They are little balls of energy, especially the little boy, but they are so cute and sweet. Vance’s connection to them makes my heart swell. If you’re in the mood for a light and fluffy romance with very minimal drama, this is it. I am very much looking forward to what Piper Rayne has in store for the other L.A men!
