Review & Release Blitz: "The Banker," by Piper Rayne

MY REVIEW

This is the third book in the Modern Love series by Piper Rayne and I must admit it is my favourite of the three. You can most definitely read it as a stand alone, but if you want to know a bit more about each of the secondary characters, you should go back and read the first two books in the series.

We were first introduced to Lennon in book one, The Bartender, and she quickly became my favourite secondary character. I was eagerly awaiting the book that focused on her and The Banker certainly lived up to my expectations.

Lennon is a strong, independent and sassy woman who enjoys exploring her sexuality. She’s a take no ish, smart-mouthed, kicks butt kinda heroine. Our other MC, Jasper, is an investment banker. He’s sexy, confident, genuine and has a great sense of humour. The connection between the two was instant and their heat factor was intense!

The Banker was witty, romantic and delivers a few twists you probably won’t see coming! Although a bit long- I felt it could have been condensed a tad- overall, I enjoyed the read. I do recommend this book- or the whole series- if you’re in the mood for a romantic comedy.

Apparently my P.I. skills aren’t as stellar as I thought because Jasper had his own secret—and it changed EVERYTHING.
