MY REVIEW

Bestie is book five in the Joker’s Wrath MC Series however, it is not the badass biker story you’re accustomed to if you’re into the genre. Bestie can be read as a standalone novel.

I really had trouble getting into this story, the characters were supposed to be grown adults but their immaturity made them come across more like teenagers. I felt a bit annoyed and frustrated with the back and forth between Roman and his ex, it got a bit repetitive. When he finally gave up on the ex to give it a go with Molly it felt too rushed. I simply couldn’t connect with either Molly or Roman, their chemistry was lacking and their romantic relationship still felt like a rebound to me.

If you haven’t read the rest of the series, I urge you to still give them a try. Bestie has quite a different feel compared to the other installments. We all have different opinions, you may even enjoy Bestie, but there were to many elements that didn’t work for me, so unfortunately it was a miss.
