MY REVIEW

Although this is the second installment in the series, it can be read as a standalone. I however, recommend reading them in order- I think it would be more enjoyable that way. We were first introduced to our main characters in book one of the Rebel Series. I'm so glad that Ms Hannigan has given us “Rebel Heart”- so those of us that read book one could finally learn what became of Elle and Braden. Elle and Braden were high school sweethearts torn apart by tragedy and bad decisions. Some years later, they are given a second chance at love when certain events cause their paths to cross again. Can they get past the pain, regret and heartbreak? Cue the feels!!! I found myself completely engrossed in their story. I was hopeful that our MC’s would find their way back to one another. I'm a sucker for a HEA ;) “Rebel Heart” was yet another sweet and engaging read by J. C. Hannigan. I would definitely read more about the other characters should she decide to continue the series!
