Review: "Rebel Soul," by J. C. Hannigan

This was the first novel I've read by Canadian author, J. C. Hannigan. Rebel Soul was both sweet and satisfying! Tessa and Brock’s love is forbidden- she's been warned by her father and brothers to stay away- but they are drawn together, like magnets. I enjoyed how their relationship grew and blossomed throughout the entirety of the story. Ms Hannigan has also written some great secondary characters to go alongside our mains. I absolutely adored the friendship and bond between Tessa and Elle! My only criticism would be that I felt a bit cheated by the abrupt ending- it was cut too short. Even though we were left with a HEA, I felt like I needed more. Overall this was a pleasant and endearing read. I'm looking forward to reading more about Elle and Braden's story in book #2, as I was also left wondering what would happen to them. Bring on Rebel Heart!! 3.5*stars
