Review: "Big Little Lies," by Liane Moriarty
Big Little Lies was my first Liane Moriarty novel and I must say that I was impressed. The story was well-plotted and structured and I found the characters to be both interesting and complicated. This was one of those novels that you can't seem to put down; you just want to know what happens next! At a whopping 480 pages, it was an easy, light read, so it didn't feel quite that long. I recommend this book if you're looking for a mystery that's not too heavy and dark. Moriarty's "Big Little Lies" was a suspenseful yet humorous murder-mystery novel. I've seen a few fellow reviewers make the comparison to the television series "Desperate Housewives" and I'd say they're bang on, that's exactly how I'd describe it! So, after this satisfyingly entertaining read, I'm looking forward to picking up another one of Moriarty's novels!
