Review: "Come Away With Me," by Kristen Proby

If you're looking for a sweet, sexy and steamy romance novel with next to no angst, then Come Away With Me is a great choice! Luke and Natalie are totally swoon worthy! The story is a bit cliché/predictable- He's famous, they meet, she has no idea who he is. He lies by omission as to who he is/what he does, she finds out, they have a fight, they make up and fall in love after only like a weeks time. Regardless of its predictability, I enjoyed reading about Natalie and Luke's whirlwind romance. I was looking for a light, fluffy (yet sexy ;) ) read anyway! One thing that did irritate me throughout was the overuse of the adjective 'beautiful’. We get it, he's beautiful, she is beautiful, sweet Jesus she's beautiful, She. Is. So. Beautiful! How about using some synonyms for beautiful: alluring, lovely, attractive, elegant, exquisite, breathtaking, gorgeous, stunning, arresting?!?… Anyways, Come Away With Me is a good one-time read if you're in the mood for something super sweet and sexy.
